Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Security Manager to lead security operations of the National Industrial Security Programs (NISP). This position will report directly to the Director of Security, Industrial Security, with direct management across the Facility Security Officer workforce.

The successful candidate will provide senior oversight and leadership to Program and Industrial Security Operations spanning all DoD programs as well as the cleared and uncleared sites across the country; work with the

Qualifications

• 13+ years in Industrial Security across DOD/IC/NISPOM (Collateral, SCI, SAP).
• 6+ years of demonstrated management/leadership in national security programs.
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• FSO Possessing Certification and Insider Threat Program Senior Official Training completed.
• Experience developing and delivering security training (briefings, insider threat, CI, OPSEC).
• Proven track record building secure spaces (SCIFs/SAPF).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for security professionals.
• Interface with corporate and government management on security issues.
• Coordinate with senior leaders to ensure security compliance of employees, programs, facilities, and operations.
• Apply multi-discipline program security management across departments to enable execution and cross‑team collaboration.
• Oversee security processes for classified contracts, insider threat, CI awareness, and ITAR/EAR controls.
• Integrate industrial security initiatives enterprise-wide and align with contract goals.
• Support emergency/crisis management planning and business resilience efforts.
• Oversee investigations of security incidents and assist with disciplinary actions.
