Job summary

InvestedintheMission is seeking a Senior Security Manager to lead security operations for DoD programs and the National Industrial Security Programs (NISP). This role reports to the Director of Security and manages the Facility Security Officer workforce across the enterprise, ensuring security for people, facilities, programs, and operations.

You will provide senior oversight for security operations across cleared and uncleared sites nationwide, involving unclassified, CUI, and Collateral

Qualifications

• 13+ years hands-on Industrial Security across the DoD, IC and NISPOM spectrum (Collateral, SCI, SAP).
• 6+ years of management/leadership in national security programs and budget oversight.
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI level security clearance is required.
• FSO Possessing Certification and Insider Threat Program Senior Official Training completed.
• Experience developing security training (Initial Briefings, OPSEC, CI awareness).
• Experience building secure spaces (SCIFs, SAPF) and facilitating compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and professional development for security staff.
• Interface with corporate and government management on security issues.
• Coordinate with senior leaders to ensure security and program compliance across sites.
• Apply multi-discipline program security management to enable execution and cross-functional teamwork.
• Oversee classified contract management, insider threat and ITAR/export security measures.
• Support crisis management and business resilience planning and execution.
• Oversee security incidents investigations and related disciplinary actions.
