Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Industrial Dispatch Driver in Carmel, IN. You will coordinate communications, monitor alarms, and assist with security-related incidents at a critical utility location.

The role emphasizes customer service, documentation, and reliable operation through teamwork. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years in security or a related field or a college degree, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy requirements.
• 5 years of industrial security experience or 2 years in military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing per state/local laws may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, access activity, and reports.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift communications.
