Job summary

Allied Universal in Akron, OH is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Dispatch Driver. You will coordinate security communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to incidents at a manufacturing and industrial site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a split schedule including nights. Training, safety protocols and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license as per Allied Universal policy.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by following site procedures, access-control protocols and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, radio communications, alarms and dispatch requests; document and relay information to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor records, and other security documentation per site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly; coordinate communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
