Job summary

Essentia is seeking a Sanitation Technician II to maintain a clean, compliant facility in accordance with SSOPs and the 7 steps to sanitation. You will execute schedules, sanitize floors, drains, walls, and shelves daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annually, and assist in pre-op notifications to quality and operations.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, and food/feed manufacturing sanitation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in food/feed manufacturing sanitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute sanitation schedule daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual.
• Sanitize floors, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Maintain a clean facility following the seven steps of sanitation.
• Notify quality and operations when pre-op is completed and perform record keeping.
• Safely mix and handle cleaning chemicals; label secondary containers.
