Job summary

M.W. Watermark is seeking a Sand Blaster to join our Holland, MI facility. This full-time, hourly role focuses on surface preparation via sandblasting, grinding and degreasing, and assisting the Paint WC Lead with paint prep tasks in a busy, safety-conscious shop.

The position demands physical endurance, a willingness to learn, and the ability to operate in a loud, dusty environment. Training and PPE are provided, with routine quality checks and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in industrial sandblasting experience.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sandblast surfaces to prepare for paint and refinishing.
• Assist Paint WC Lead with prep work and staging.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, or man-lifts when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the shop.
