Job summary

WEMCO, Inc. is seeking a dedicated worker for the Paint Department. Under the Paint Department Supervisor’s direction, your primary duty will be to clean, prep, mask, and sandblast materials according to written instructions and specifications.

The role requires attention to detail during work verification and surface preparation, along with the operation of specialized sandblasting tools. An emphasis is placed on safety and quality assurance throughout the sandblasting process.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior experience in general labor, manufacturing, or coatings preferred; will train the right candidate.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials prior to work.
• Prepare surfaces for coating, including manual debris removal prior to sandblasting.
• Operate specialized sandblast tools and machinery to remove contaminants.
