Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in an industrial sandblasting environment.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required (HS diploma or equivalent).
• Must be organized and able to perform in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work under direction of Paint WC Lead to complete duties.
• Prepare surfaces for paint by sandblasting, grinding, sanding, degreasing, seam sealing, etc.
• Stage materials for paint pre- and post-paint.
• Protect areas using masking film, tape, or paper before abrading.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Maintain sandblasting equipment, booth, and nozzles.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, or man-lifts as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
