Job summary

Rain for Rent in Yorba Linda, CA seeks a Sales Representative, Industrial to maintain and develop customer and prospect relationships to increase revenues in the assigned territory. You will provide market insights, collaborate with operations, and support safety programs and company values.

You will travel within the territory, participate in industry events, and promote full‑service solutions including design, installation, service, and operation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pricing and quoting to meet profit objectives.
• Meet or exceed rental sales and revenue objectives.
• Execute sales strategies and build customer relationships.
• Create solutions to close clients’ irrigation and liquid handling challenges.
• Share innovative products, creating market awareness and increasing new/repeat business.
• Expand top ten customer relationships through regular face‑to‑face sales calls.
• Promote, seek out, and consummate new and repeat business for sales and rentals.
• Attend industry events to stay current.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory, keeping expenses within budget.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of products, pricing, sales and credit policies, and promotional aids.
• Accurately detail the terms and conditions of each quote.
• Prepare concise orders for sales, rentals, and leases, estimating delivery dates.
• Promote full‑service solutions including design, installation, service, and operation.
• Coordinate with branch personnel on product availability, delivery, and job specifics.
• Prepare written reports and records required by management.
• Manage customer database using computer software.
• Promote cooperation and good communication with all branch and corporate personnel.
• Actively participate in the Company’s safety culture.
• Know and practice the company’s value proposition.
