Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, seeks an Employee Health and Safety Coordinator to drive safety programs across Phoenix Metro industrial projects. The role focuses on fostering a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, and field support through training, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of safety management experience in construction (preferably electrical or underground).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable safety regulations.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, BCSP, IASHEP, or NCCER are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships and promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop, implement, and improve safety policies and procedures per regulatory requirements.
• Deliver safety training and provide resources to ensure understanding of best practices.
• Monitor and enforce compliance through jobsite inspections, audits, and assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations and implement corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness efforts including response planning and training exercises.
