Step into a day on our maintenance teamYou arrive, gear up, and scan the production floor. Lines are humming, conveyors are moving, and a filler is queued for a changeover. You’ll complete inspections, close out preventive maintenance tasks, and then jump onto an unexpected breakdown—quick diagnosis, safe lockout/tagout, a targeted repair, and production is back at rate. Before the shift ends, you coordinate with Quality, Sanitation, and Production on a sanitation window and help prepare a Sidel changeover so the night crew can hit the ground running. That’s a typical day supporting a high‑volume beverage plant.Employment detailsPay: $25.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experienceSchedule: All shifts available, with the greatest need on 3rd shiftHours: Minimum 48 hours per weekJob Type: Full-timeOvertime: Required as neededWork Location: In personWe are hiring for all shifts, with heightened demand for skilled mechanics on 3rd shift. What you’ll ownExecute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment and facility machinery.Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.Complete preventive and corrective maintenance, along with component repairs and adjustments.Diagnose failures quickly to minimize downtime and stabilize output.Assist with installs, modifications, start-ups, and production changeovers.Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.Conduct daily equipment inspections and escalate major issues to Maintenance leadership.Support blow molders, fillers, conveyors, palletizers, packaging equipment, and allied systems.Create work orders and maintain accurate maintenance/repair records.Provide responsive support during breakdowns and other time‑critical events.Adhere to safety, GMP, food safety, quality, sanitation, and company procedures.Keep your work area orderly, clean, and safe.If you bring Sidel expertise, you will alsoOperate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot Sidel blow molding equipment.Lead changeovers, start-ups, critical adjustments, and major mechanical repairs.Maintain Sidel systems such as SBO, Matrix, Universal, Series 2, or similar platforms.Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues on Sidel assets.Partner with Quality Control to ensure bottles meet company specifications.Drive bottle quality, process improvements, and reduction of downtime.Clean, sanitize, and maintain blow molding and related production equipment.Required qualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, manufacturing equipment, or a related technical field.Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability.Self‑starter who responds quickly to equipment issues.Willing and able to work at least 48 hours per week.Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.Comfort working safely around production equipment and moving machinery.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, and pull throughout the shift.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.Comfort in a warm, loud, wet, and fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Ability to wear all required PPE.Preferred experienceExperience maintaining or repairing Sidel blow molding equipment. Background in beverage, bottled water, soft drink, food manufacturing, plastics, PET packaging, or bottling.Work on fillers, conveyors, palletizers, blow molders, and packaging equipment.Electrical, welding, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, or equipment installation experience.Exposure to PLCs and automated production systems.Major machine repairs or complete equipment overhauls.Prior Sidel Field Service Engineer or Service Technician experience.Forklift or equipment certification.Basic computer proficiency for work orders and maintenance records.Physical requirementsLift up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier items with assistance or equipment.Stand and walk for extended periods.Bend, reach, kneel, climb, push, and pull throughout the shift.Work near moving equipment, in wet areas, with noise and heat amid production activity.Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.Pay and benefitsCompetitive pay from $25.00 to $40.00 per hourOvertime opportunitiesMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPaid holidays401(k)401(k) matchingTraining and growth opportunitiesBenefits may be subject to eligibility requirements.Candidate screening questionsWhich shift are you available to work?
