Job summary

Kings Command Foods in Versailles, OH is seeking a Refrigeration Tech to perform skilled maintenance on the ammonia refrigeration system at our facility. You will routinely inspect, troubleshoot, and repair components, while recording data and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities include adjusting compressor parameters, monitoring ammonia levels, and maintaining compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and SOPs. Overtime and varied shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Welding experience required.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures and environments.
• Willingness to work extended hours including Saturdays with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Use tools and equipment to perform skilled maintenance on ammonia refrigeration system.
• Daily recording of refrigeration equipment performance.
• Visual checks of evaporators; record issues (fans, ice buildup, condensate drains).
• Adjust compressor pressure and temperature as needed.
• Monitor ammonia levels in accumulators and high-pressure vessels.
• Comply with lockout/tagout procedures.
