Job summary

Americold in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to independently perform advanced refrigeration maintenance across the warehouse, including ammonia systems. You will set up equipment, monitor performance, troubleshoot complex systems, and supervise technicians while ensuring safety and OSHA compliance.

Requirements include 5+ years in industrial refrigeration, a high school diploma or GED, completion of relevant courses, and HAZMAT certification.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience including ammonia refrigeration.
High school diploma or GED required; completion of industrial refrigeration/maintenance courses is required.
HAZMAT training and certification must be maintained.
Experience troubleshooting control systems such as ALTA and Allen Bradley; CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

Set up operational settings and parameters for all refrigeration equipment.
Monitor system performance and take actions to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control systems to identify root causes.
Replace components following lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
Perform routine and complex maintenance on warehouse equipment per OSHA standards.
Oversee internal/external technicians for compliance and quality control.
Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance records and participate in improvements.
