Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Refrigeration Technician I to support warehouse operations with refrigeration background and preventive maintenance. You will operate and repair refrigeration systems, monitor performance, and keep equipment in safe, compliant condition.

The role requires 2+ years in refrigeration or maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and HVAC/R or related technical credentials if needed. Flexible shifts and potential on-call work are part of the job.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience required.
HAZMAT training and certification required.
High school diploma or GED required.
HVAC/R certification or technical degree required if experience is not met.
Successful completion of assigned industrial refrigeration or mechanical-electrical courses required.

Responsibilities

Operate and perform repairs and adjustments on refrigeration systems.
Monitor system performance and identify operational issues.
Conduct routine maintenance on warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective actions.
Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate instruments.
Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and ensure proper use.
Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and uphold housekeeping standards in the work area.
Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
