Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for key customers. A strong working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration plus electrical controls is required.

Pay ranges from $30–$60/hour, depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule averaging 45–60 hours per week. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on-site problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have attained a GED; HVAC tech school preferred.
• Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Motor alignment experience is a plus.
• This position requires pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening.
• Safety-sensitive role with regular drug testing; respirator use required.
• Excellent physical condition for climbing, heavy lifting, and long shifts.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a fit test.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment at accounts in food/beverage and cold storage.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon systems.
• Leverage knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors and electrical controls for inspections.
• Adhere to all work safety policies and governing requirements.
