Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for our customers. A working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 45-60 hours per week. Pay: $30-$60/hour, dependent on experience. Pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening are required; respirator fit testing may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have attained a GED.
• HVAC tech school preferred.
• EPA Universal certification OR ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Motor alignment experience is a plus.
• Company is tobacco-free; no tobacco use on site.
• Pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record checks.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring drug testing.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a fit test.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support of industrial refrigeration equipment for accounts.
• Handle ammonia and Freon systems; perform routine and emergency service.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls and system alarms.
• Adhere to safety policies and governing requirements.
• Support customers across food/beverage, cold storage, pharma and more.
