Job summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Quality Specialist in Abilene, Texas.

The role focuses on QA/QC leadership across suppliers, welding controls, and adherence to project requirements to ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include coordinating client specifications, updating procedures, supporting audits (ABSA/ASME/API where applicable), and collaborating with production teams to mitigate risks while promoting continuous

Qualifications

• Construction trade certification or a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering preferred.
• Regulatory and compliance certifications are required based on field (e.g., inspector certifications).
• Intermediate knowledge of industrial construction codes and standards (CSA, ASTM, ASME, NACE).
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment and learn new technical information.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with QA/QC representatives and third-party testing agencies.
• Coordinates collection of client welding, fabrication, material, and test requirements.
• Updates procedures and evaluates RFQs for quality management requirements.
• Assists with audits and ensures compliance with project requirements.
• Supports welding and inspection activities to ensure integrity of installations.
