Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering, LLC is seeking experienced QC Specialists to perform and witness inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with industry codes and customer specs. You will verify calibration, validate technician certifications, and generate clear inspection reports for project stakeholders.

As a Customer Representative, you will interact with Suppliers on scheduling and deliveries, promote safe work practices, and contribute to continuous quality improvement while meeting HSSE

Qualifications

• Current CWI certification
• 5+ years shop inspection experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly, etc.)
• Knowledge of API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1 standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic PC skills and proficiency with spreadsheets
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and on schedule
• Decision-making ability for day-to-day operations

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per project plans, quality plans, and customer requirements
• Verify inspection, measurement, and test equipment calibration/certification
• Validate technician certifications are current for the scope
• Act as customer representative with suppliers for scheduling and deliveries
• Generate reports documenting rejection/acceptance of inspections and tests
• Communicate progress and results to project coordinators and stakeholders
• Promote safe work practices and comply with safety guidelines
• Comply with QMS documentation and procedures
