Austin Industrial is seeking a QC Tech in Pasadena, TX to ensure welding work meets safety and performance standards across active projects. This role emphasizes strict adherence to codes and client specs while coordinating site QA efforts.

The ideal candidate has welding process knowledge (MIG, TIG, arc, laser), familiarity with NDE coordination, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork in fast-paced industrial environments.

Competenze

• Associate degree preferred.
• Valid Driver's License, TWIC, AWS CWI, and NCCER certifications required.
• 8 years' experience in an Industrial setting preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform daily welding/structural inspections at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and state laws.
• Draft daily site reports highlighting discrepancies or safety issues.
• Coordinate NDE when needed and witness hydrostatic tests.
• Oversee welders and train staff as required.
• Collaborate with QA personnel and project managers.
• Plan and direct work to meet project deadlines.
• Interview and onboard new workers as necessary.
