Ingersoll Rand's Bentleyville Facility in Charleroi, PA is hiring an Industrial QA Test & Metrology Technician on 1st shift (5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.). You will verify units meet specs, perform inspections from receiving through final, and ensure conformance to drawings and standards.

You will document QA processes, lead training, and collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier quality to drive dispositions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing and 3+ years in direct quality inspection.
• MRP experience (SAP preferred) and strong MS Outlook/Word/Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify units meet specs and diagnose failures using test instruments.
• Read test schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specs, and schematics to determine test methods and equipment.
• Execute receiving, in‑process, and final inspections to drawings and standards.
• Author, improve, and train others on ISO 9001 QMS documentation.
• Maintain document control (Quality Manual, procedures, work instructions, non‑conformances, inspection reports).
• Lead and log quality training; maintain accurate training records.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier quality to resolve issues and drive dispositions.
• Control calibration equipment; support device database administration.
• Assist with internal and supplier audits; contribute to continuous improvement.
