Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Technician II to support the NASH team in Bentleyville, PA. You will perform tests, read schedules and schematics, and conduct in-process, receiving, and final inspections to ensure products meet specifications.

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct quality inspection experience.
  • Proficiency with standard inspection tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Develops and trains others in documentation of the quality management system to ISO-9001 standards.
  • Inspections: Supports receiving and in-process inspections and performs final inspections per prints and specs.
  • Trainings: Oversees training on quality documents and ensures records are maintained.
  • Customer Issues: Resolves quality issues raised by customers and suppliers.
  • Quality Activities: Maintains document control including the Quality Manual, Procedures, and Work Instructions.

Job Overview

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Technician II to join our NASH team in Bentleyville, PA. The Quality Technician II performs a variety of tests to ensure units function according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure, using test instruments: Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used. Perform receiving, in‑process, and final inspections per applicable prints and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Documentation: Develops and trains others in documentation of the Company’s quality management system to satisfy the standards of ISO‑9001.
  • Inspections: Works with the production and engineering staff to support any receiving or in‑process inspections and perform final inspection activities.
  • Trainings: Conducts and oversees the training of all company personnel in the quality documents along with the activities associated with those documents; ensures training records are generated and stored in accordance with procedures.
  • Customer Issues: Resolution and disposition of quality issues raised by customers and suppliers.
  • Quality Activities: Administers all document control activities associated with the quality system including, but not limited to, the Quality Manual, Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, Non‑Conformances, Inspection Reports, etc.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier quality teams
  • Control calibration equipment and support management of all device databases
  • Assist with internal/supplier audits associated with the quality system.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
Requirements
  • 2 years’ experience (minimum) in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct quality inspection experience
  • Strong proficiency with standard inspection tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • MRP system experience (SAP Preferred)
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Collaborative with engineering, production, and supplier quality teams
Core Competencies
  • Experience with fabrication, weld inspection, and NDE methods
  • Experience with portable CMM equipment
  • Steel Mill or Foundry experience / background
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical school or secondary education in a company‑related field preferred (machining, measurement, analysis, laboratory work, casting/foundry) preferred
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This role will be on site in Bentleyville, PA.
