Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Charleroi, PA seeks an Assembler for our Bentleyville facility on 1st shift (5am–1:30pm). You will perform varied assembly tasks, ensure parts fit, and work under limited supervision to produce high-quality products.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of assembly or mechanical experience, can operate hand tools, and lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift/overhead crane experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of assembly or mechanical experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Static and dynamic balance of rotating assemblies.
• Arrange/handle parts using a forklift or overhead crane.
• Assemble machines per customer specifications/blueprints using standard and special tools. Follow torque specifications. Take and note various measurements.
• Be willing to ask questions to better understand the process.
• Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.

Job Overview

The Assembler will perform various tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. The Assembler works under limited supervision, responsible to perform a variety of duties efficiently with high quality results.
