Job summary

Southeast Pump Specialist, Inc. is seeking an inside sales professional to drive customer relationships and sales in the Southeast region. You will respond to inquiries, understand application needs, and manage quotations and orders to support the field team.

You’ll work with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office, coordinating with outside sales and product teams while ensuring timely follow-up and accurate information throughout the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Experience with industrial pumps, rotating equipment or related fields is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical specifications, drawings, and product literature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn CRM/ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other channels.
• Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and purchasing requirements.
• Identify sales opportunities and proactively follow up on quotes, leads, and requests.
• Support outside sales representatives with customer communication, quotations, product information, and order management.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process.
