Associates Systems LLC in Texas is seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to work on industrial pumping systems. You will disassemble and assemble pumps, install bearings, seals, shafts, and impellers, and inspect components for wear.

The role requires reading mechanical blueprints, using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and feeler gauges, and maintaining tight tolerances with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifikationen

3+ years in pump/mechanical repair roles such as Pump Mechanic, Pump Technician, or Millwright.
Hands-on experience assembling and disassembling industrial pumps.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and assembly drawings.
Experience installing bearings, mechanical seals, shafts, sleeves, and impellers.
Proficient with precision measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, feeler gauges.
Experience performing clearance measurements and verifying mechanical tolerances.
Understanding of mechanical fits, alignments, and rotating equipment components.
Ability to identify wear, damage, and defects in mechanical parts.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
