Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Stand for long periods, lift up to 100 lbs, and work with hands.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in pump repair.
• Able to read manuals, schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for precise assembly and repair.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems in pumps and seals.
• Clear communication with team members and documentation.
• Welding and metal fabrication experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pump skids including centrifugal, rotary gear and positive displacement varieties.
• Install and test mechanical seals to prevent leaks and ensure performance.
• Perform precision laser alignments on completed pump units.
• Trim and balance impellers for smooth operation.
• Conduct quality inspections before shipment.
• Collaborate with design team to aid in new skid development.
• Help maintain shop stock and parts availability.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
