Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Mechanical experience in industrial or rotating-equipment environments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and specifications.
Ability to safely operate or learn forklifts and cranes.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently or in a team.
Reliable attendance and good work ethic.

Responsibilities

Inspect, disassemble, measure, repair, rebuild, and assemble pumps and rotating equipment.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine root causes.
Repair or replace bearings, seals, packing, bushings, shafts, and impellers.
Measure shafts, housings, and components with precision tools.
Read pump drawings and specifications; interpret manuals.
Perform pump alignment using precision equipment.
Inspect repaired equipment for fit, tolerances, and operation.
Assist with testing pumps and field or shop repairs as needed.
Operate shop equipment and maintain a clean, safe area.
Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately.
