Ferguson is seeking a Pump Mechanic Associate to assemble, disassemble, and repair industrial pumps. You will diagnose issues, identify parts, and support machine shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Based in California, the role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work, safety compliance, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Competenze

• Two years of mechanical experience preferred.
• High School or GED / Vocational training required or equivalent.
• Valid state license required; DOT Medical Card preferred or able to obtain.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of mechanical tools.
• Experience repairing damaged equipment to working order.
• Able to lift and move 50+ pounds; may assist in deliveries.
• On-the-job training provided; adheres to safety policies.

Mansioni

• Dismantle, inspect and repair pumps including submersible, centrifugal, split case, and vertical types.
• Record parts needed and request replacements.
• Test pumps according to written procedures.
• Maintain a neat and safe shop environment.
• Follow environmental and safety policies.
• May perform back up driver duties.
