Job summary

MPI in Houston is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio focused on industrial assets. You will nurture tenant relationships, coordinate maintenance, review budgets, and ensure strong financial performance under the Head of Property Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Approximately 3+ years of commercial property management experience.
• Strong commercial real estate experience; industrial property experience preferred.
• Experience managing tenant relationships, vendors, budgets and property operations.
• Working knowledge of commercial leases, CAM reconciliations and operating expense recoveries.
• Proficiency with Yardi is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Residential property management experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a portfolio of commercial properties, focusing on industrial assets.
• Serve as primary contact for tenants, addressing requests and lease-related matters.
• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance, repairs and vendor services.
• Assist with operating budgets, expense tracking, CAM reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, and service contracts for cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and oversee service provider performance.
• Support capital improvement projects, compliance initiatives, and reporting requirements.
