Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Irving, TX. You will develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases to support on-time, on-budget project delivery.

You will partner with Project Management, field teams, Estimating, and Finance to ensure schedules align with program goals and reporting cycles. A strong background in CPM scheduling and risk awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–12 years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls.
• Proficient in Primavera P6; MS Project or similar tools preferred.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling principles: critical path, float management, logic development.
• Experience updating schedules, progress tracking, and delay analysis.
• Able to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Apply SOPs and templates to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Create baseline schedules with logic-driven critical paths and resource loading.
• Perform schedule updates, progress measurement, and variance analysis.
• Support monthly controls with earned value, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to validate progress.
• Assist in developing recovery schedules and mitigation plans for delayed projects.
• Integrate schedule data with cost systems and reporting tools.
• Participate in schedule reviews, audits, and health checks with corrective actions.
• Support estimating and preconstruction teams with preliminary schedules and sequencing.
• Maintain schedule documentation including assumptions and change logs.
• Refine scheduling processes and provide mentorship to junior staff.
