Job summary

NPAworldwide in Newport News, VA, is seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from estimation to completion. You will coordinate with customers, GC, subcontractors, and field ops to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing estimates, proposals, budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and submittals; tracking costs; and guiding project teams through final closeout, start-up, and owner training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Management or related field.
• Experience managing industrial mechanical construction projects.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, scheduling and cost control experience.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial mechanical construction projects from estimating through project completion.
• Coordinate project execution with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, fabrication, and field operations.
• Lead project meetings and provide financial and progress updates to management.
• Track project costs, including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and change orders.
• Prepare project estimates, proposals, budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and submittals.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
