Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of industrial construction projects from inception to completion, interfacing with construction professionals, cross-functional internal teams, and the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably in a construction environment).
• 5-10 years' experience in industrial construction project management for projects valued from $10K to $2M USD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work across varied disciplines.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to develop and foster repeat business opportunities and long-term relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for key customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders.
• Align the timely and successful delivery of our solutions to customer needs and objectives.
• Develop and implement a sound project execution plan for each project.
• Identify, analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks.
• Review & negotiate contract terms and obtain required construction permits.
• Coordinate with internal departments, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to develop and maintain a construction plan and schedule.
• Solicit and review vendor quotes, purchase equipment & material, develop subcontractor scopes of work and issue subcontracts.
• Provide guidance for the fabrication schedule and implement project-specific safety plans.
• Ensure supplier and subcontractor invoices are reviewed and scheduled for payment per contract documents.
• Draft project payment applications per project SOV & billing schedule.
• Interact with and oversee ACI field crews to meet safety and productivity goals.
• Monitor change control processes and prepare change orders.
• Prepare monthly reports on project status and performance metrics.
• Develop recovery plans to bring metrics back on target when needed.
• Participate in client and vendor meetings and internal reviews.
• Maintain ACI quality standards and safety practices across projects.
