Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking dynamic, motivated, career-minded individuals to join our expanding team. The Industrial Project Engineer will support field operations, ensuring materials, equipment, and information are available to complete the scope of work, reporting to the Director of Industrial Services.

The role involves assisting with permits, subcontractor scopes, schedules, submittals, and closeout documentation, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and safety compliance on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 1–3 years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management in permits, proposals, contracts, schedules and change orders.
• Review specs and drawings for subcontractor scopes and project tracking.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and submittals; maintain logs.
• Manage materials and equipment purchases; track deliveries and invoices.
• Support buyout process and project scheduling.
• Coordinate meetings, minutes and closeout documentation.
• Ensure safety, quality and progress with timely issue escalation.
