Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Project Engineer to support field operations on industrial projects. You will report to the Director of Industrial Services, ensuring field forces have the materials, equipment, and information needed to complete the scope of work.

As an extension of the Project Manager, you will protect and promote ACI's interests, manage schedules, submittals, and closeout documentation while coordinating with clients, vendors, and the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 1–3 years' experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Project, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing (Bluebeam, Adobe).
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks) is a plus.
• Ability to learn company-specific software (e.g., Procore and Viewpoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with permits, proposals, contracts, schedules and change orders.
• Review specs and drawings for subcontractor scopes and tracking.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and submittals with logs.
• Manage materials and equipment purchases and tracking.
• Support field in expediting schedule and paperwork.
• Attend project meetings and document minutes.
• Coordinate punch list and closeout documents.
