Job summary

Hydro is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital and process improvement projects across all phases from feasibility to completion. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating with plant operations, engineering, procurement, and external contractors.

You should have 5+ years of hands-on experience, solid PM knowledge (scope, schedule, budget, risk, procurement), and strong writing skills. The role requires travel 30-50% and on-site work as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline and 5 years hands-on project experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scope, schedule, budget, risk, procurement.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% and work on-site as needed.
• English fluency; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project tasks, resource requirements, and staffing plans.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including scopes of work, technical specs, RFQs/RFPs, contracts, and change orders.
• Coordinate equipment selection, procurement, and vendor management with stakeholders.
• Track and report project progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Manage onsite execution, including coordination of contractors, equipment deliveries, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
