Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Project Engineer in Suffolk, VA. You will support field operations, ensuring materials, equipment and information flow to complete the scope of work.

You will report to the Director of Industrial Services and work with the PM and subcontractors to protect company interests. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 1–3 years of related experience, with strong MS Office and PDF editing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience (construction preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office suite; ability to edit PDFs.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with permits, proposals, contracts and schedules.
• Review specs and drawings for subcontractor scopes.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and submittals; maintain logs.
• Manage materials, equipment purchases and vendor relations.
