Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Greensboro, NC. You will plan, execute, and oversee project steps, collaborating with the project manager and team to meet expectations.

This role handles administrative duties, budget support and coordination with vendors, clients and employees. You will work to ensure schedules, costs and resources are aligned with project goals, while advancing safety and adherence to codes and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing industrial construction projects up to $1M.
• 3+ years client relationship and business development experience.
• Experience leading bids, estimating, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and oversee site projects with project managers and client.
• Prepare estimates, invoices and monitor project progress with software.
• Update on schedule progress, budget and spending.
• Assist with scope changes, bids, contracts and milestones.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients and staff to meet expectations.
• Travel to jobsites as required and maintain SIC safety programs.
