Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Cincinnati for a high-growth career track in industrial and infrastructure projects. The role offers real project ownership beyond administrative coordination and exposure to complex programs.

You will work with experienced project leaders, assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client communications, and gain hands-on field experience. Salary is $80,000–$100,000 per year with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in project coordination, construction, engineering, industrial services, or related industries.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, or project financials.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working both in an office and at project sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar platforms.
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning and executing industrial and infrastructure projects
• Assist with project estimating, bid reviews, and pre-construction planning
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, forecasting, and financial performance
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong customer communication
• Conduct job site visits to monitor project progress and support field operations
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and project documentation
• Track project performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
