Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for industrial self-perform construction in the United States. You will steer large-scale projects from notice-to-proceed through turnover, owning schedules, budgets, and client-facing aspects.

Expect 35–40% travel for site kickoffs, reviews, and close-outs. The role emphasizes delivering on-time, on-budget, incident-free work while maintaining client trust for future awards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years managing construction projects, ideally self-perform industrial work.
• Fluency in reading plans, specifications, and construction means/methods.
• Strong command of Microsoft Project plus advanced Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel 35–40%.

Responsibilities

• Own the schedule, budget, margin, and overall performance of each project.
• Function as the single point of contact for clients, engineers, subs, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Spot contractual or schedule issues early; drive change-order or risk-mitigation actions.
• Prepare precise monthly invoices, cost projections, and management reports.
• Run progress meetings and clear roadblocks to keep crews productive.
• Keep thorough project records and champion our safety program on every site.
