Job summary

HDR is seeking an Industrial Project Architect in Pennington, NJ to lead the planning, design, documentation and construction administration of industrial facilities, including data centers and water facilities.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate owner/client meetings with agencies for code compliance, and ensure high-quality construction documents, QA/QC, and adherence to project milestones; 5+ years of industrial experience and Registered Architect status are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; 5+ years of industrial architecture experience.
• Registered Architect with strong knowledge of building codes and planning.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and MS Office; ability to prepare contract documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner/client and internal meetings and reviews for code compliance.
• Direct design teams to produce construction documents and milestones.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary work through all project phases.
• Perform QA/QC and cross-discipline technical reviews.
• Provide construction observation and contract administration as needed.
• Draft and edit architectural specifications; manage addenda and RFIs.
