Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking candidates to operate production equipment and support our on-site teams. The role emphasizes safety, routine maintenance, and efficient operation in a fast-paced environment.

We value flexibility, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with at least one year of heavy equipment and hydraulic crane experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to change priorities quickly and work under time constraints.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment and hydraulic cranes.
  • High school education or equivalent required/preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment following established procedures.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
  • Participate in CMC safety programs and uphold safety culture.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
  • Carry out daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Operate in a high-activity environment with strong situational awareness.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
