Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking an Industrial Product Manager in Chicago, IL to drive strategy, growth, and profitability for a portfolio of engineered electrical products. You will collaborate across engineering, sales, operations, and marketing to translate market needs into product strategy and commercial execution.

The role offers ownership of pricing, lifecycle decisions, new product opportunities, and overall product line performance, with a hands-on approach to managing priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Experience managing pricing, margins, and lifecycle performance.
• Experience with industrial electrical or electromechanical products is preferred.
• Strong cross-functional communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for assigned product lines.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies to support revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
• Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with engineering to define product requirements and support new product development initiatives.
• Work closely with sales to support customer opportunities, product positioning, and commercialization efforts.
• Monitor product performance, including orders, pricing, margins, demand, and inventory.
• Support channel and go-to-market strategies across direct and indirect sales channels.
• Lead cross-functional product initiatives from identification through execution.
• Support product launches, training, sales enablement, and other market-development activities.
