Job summary

Global Power Components, Milwaukee-based manufacturer of large fabricated metal products and engineered electrical assemblies, seeks an Industrial Engineer to help design, launch, stabilize, and continuously improve manufacturing systems for UL 891 switchboards and related equipment.

This hands-on role focuses on production layout, material flow, work instructions, labor standards, routings, ERP data in Epicor, and day-to-day manufacturing support.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define process and layout to assemble UL 891 switchboards and other large electrical assemblies safely and efficiently.
• Create line designs for low-volume, high-mix ETO and lower mix CTO production.
• Perform time studies, line balancing, material flow planning, ergonomic analyses for scalable production.
• Collaborate with materials and production teams to develop material handling and replenishment processes.
• Create work instructions and SOPs to document processes.
• Support stabilization and ramp-up of CTO and ETO production lines.
