Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis.
• Rotate across plant positions such as Production or Quality.
• Strong customer orientation and adherence to Quality Operating System.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Participatory approach to union relations and teamwork.
• Serve as a technical mentor to production members (hourly and salary).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ONE FORD behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain labor standards, methods, and process flow using time studies and value stream mapping.
• Drive cost savings and efficient manpower utilization to support production goals.
• Conduct ergonomics evaluations and analyze process constraints and cycle times.
• Prepare cost estimates for new or revised methods and standards.
• Review changes in plant layout, processes, and routing.
• Analyze production and non-production operations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct time and motion/MODAPTS studies and review employee proposals.
• Develop cycle line layouts using ACAD and lead methodization and allocations.
• Coordinate engineering changes, planning, and value stream audits.
• Develop cost-saving project proposals as needed.
• Interface with Production Supervision and the UAW to resolve disputes.
• Assist planning labor allocations for mix and line speed changes.
