Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing seeks an Industrial Process Estimator to support cost estimating, bid preparation, and proposal development for industrial construction and process facility projects. The role targets Estimator/Construction Estimator or engineering professionals with experience in oil and gas, industrial process facilities, mechanical and piping systems, or multidisciplinary construction projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
1–5 years of experience in construction estimating, industrial construction, process facilities, oil and gas, or related field construction activities.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and electrical diagrams.
Experience with cost estimating, material takeoffs, BOMs, and bid preparation.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business applications.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for industrial process facilities and multidisciplinary scopes.
Review RFPs/RFQs, drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
Perform quantity takeoffs, MTOs, BOM development; estimate labor, materials, equipment, subs, rentals, GC costs.
Develop unit pricing, labor productivity assumptions, and cost models using Excel and estimating tools.
Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement; support bid reviews and proposals.
