Taurus Industrial Group, LLC seeks a highly skilled Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and proposals for electrical and instrumentation projects in oil & gas, petrochemical and renewable energy sectors.

The role involves interpreting drawings and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, evaluating vendor quotes, and maintaining estimating databases to ensure compliant, cost-effective bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation estimating.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and determine project scope.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for electrical and instrumentation projects (materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors).
• Interpret project drawings and specs to determine scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop pricing schedules.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed bid proposals and supporting documentation.
• Maintain estimating databases and cost data with current market rates and client data.
