Job summary

TEiC Services is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our growing Industrial Construction team. This role develops accurate estimates, supports pre-construction, coordinates subcontractor pricing, and partners with operations to ensure project execution.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates from drawings and specs, taking off quantities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation scopes, and developing subcontractor bid packages while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Experience estimating projects valued at $15M or greater.
• Proficiency with Excel; knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6, InEight) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and conceptual cost estimates by reviewing drawings and specs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation.
• Develop subcontractor bid packages and evaluate proposals.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align scope, budgets, schedules.
• Maintain labor, equipment, and material cost databases.
• Support proposal development, scheduling, and bid reviews with leadership.
• Participate in turnover meetings and provide estimating docs to teams on award.
• Review drawings and technical documents to refine estimates.
• Apply industry knowledge and market trends to stay competitive.
