Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings seeks a Process Engineer to lead plant output optimization, reduce downtime and scrap, and drive process control improvements. You will develop SOPs, analyze data, and support capital projects in a hands-on, onsite role in Leola, PA.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science in engineering, Six Sigma expertise, and experience in PVC processing and extrusion in a high-volume environment. Travel and onsite collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering.
• Experience in high-volume, continuous manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and knowledge of DOE preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing program for plant output optimization and downtime reduction.
• Develop and maintain process guidelines (SOP/SOC) and training for new products and systems.
• Conduct data analysis of scrap, downtime, line rates, and material usage; prepare reports for data-driven decisions.
• Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives (WCI, PIP).
• Support capital projects and equipment upgrades with clear scope and timelines.
