Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings in Wichita Falls, TX, seeks a Process Engineer to lead the plant's output optimization, reduce downtime and scrap, and support capital projects. You will work with the leadership team to drive process improvements and ensure reliable manufacturing performance.

The role requires hands-on engineering, data analysis, and strong communication to develop procedures and guide cross-functional teams through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in PVC processing or extrusion is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct technical activities to solve plant problems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs/SOCs for new products and systems.
• Analyze scrap, downtime, line rates, and material usage; produce reports.
• Lead cost reduction and WCI/PIP initiatives.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, 5S/6S, TPM, Kaizen, and DOEs.
• Update manufacturing standards and optimize material flow.
