Charleston Water System is seeking an Industrial Pretreatment Program & Laboratory Manager to administer the IWPP and Environmental Resources laboratory. You will oversee regulatory compliance, data management, training, and staff performance while aligning with EPA/DHEC requirements.

The role requires a strong laboratory background, experience in pretreatment programs, and the ability to manage multiple regulatory reporting streams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related discipline.
• S.C. A Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator License within 2 years of hire.
• 1 year of industrial pretreatment experience preferred.
• 3 years of progressive laboratory experience in wastewater treatment and QA/QC.

Aufgaben

• Supervise ER laboratory personnel and manage payroll and evaluations.
• Submit budgets for IWPP and Process Lab requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DHEC and EPA monitoring/reporting for NPDES and IWPP.
• Oversee IWPP permitting, inspections, sampling, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain Laboratory Certification and compliance for field parameters.
• Develop and maintain ISO 14001 documentation and lab procedures.
• Assist with daily lab activities and cross-training across facilities.
