Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking an Industrial Practice Delivery Leader to drive the practice strategy, oversee performance, and lead cross-functional teams in client-focused delivery. You will align with Practice Leadership to enhance culture, delivery, and growth, guiding project teams, budgets, and resource planning to achieve strategic goals.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong communication, and a proven ability to translate strategy into execution while mentoring teammates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 15+ years relevant industry experience preferred; or equivalent in education and experience.
• PMP is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, in partnership with Practice Leadership, the Practice, internally, and leverage and evolve the capabilities of the firm while leading and working with other NELSON leadership.
• Review pricing efforts for high profile RFP responses and MSAs to ensure profitability targets and market competitiveness.
• Review and negotiate contracts in collaboration with legal counsel to mitigate risk in scope and terms.
• Analyze project performance with Studio Leaders to optimize business results and meet goals.
• Identify problems and friction points in the project life cycle and implement solutions to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Communicate shifts in priorities effectively to Leadership & Teammates.
• Provide feedback to team and support professional development in partnership with HR.
• Balance talent resources across the Practice and Nelson-wide, including Extended Team Partners and hiring needs.
• Develop succession plans and maintain important client relationships as needed.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and exchange of ideas for continuous improvement.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and monitor Deltek Project & Plan data quality.
